Durzo Blint is the main villain in the series, The Mistborn trilogy by Brandon Sanderson. He is an assassin who lives in the city of Elantris. This city is built on the remains of a fallen kingdom, so when it was built, people had to go in and destabilize the ruins that were lying around. Durzo Blint does this with his assassinations.

He is considered the best assassin in the city. When he is hired to kill someone, within seconds he's killed them. Durzo has something that makes him immune to bullets, but he also has something that protects him from blades - mist.

He can make himself invisible by creating a mist wall around himself. He creates mist walls through his methods of assassination.
